THE EVENT ANNOUNCEMENTS SHOULD BE SENT out in waves. These are
not to be confused with the "Community Calendar of Events" notices,
or the "Pre-event interview" notices. These are meant to build
up and hype media interest in the event, so that they will not
want to "MISS" out. A series of suggested postcards follow, to
mailed out in waves as prescribed by the information on the cards
(NOTE, even though these cards go out to ALL media, television
will be your biggest hit on the event day, and TV is visually
driven, so the emphasis is on a "spectacular visual event":
